LE PONCEAU

Au début du XXe siècle un projet de tramway reliant Lons-le-Saunier à Saint-Julien-sur-Suran voit le jour, mais les travaux n'ont jamais été terminés.
Le projet a débuté en 1901 pour un tracé définitif en 1912. Les travaux ont débuté en 1913 mais restèrent inachevés suite à l'abandon en 1926.

Ce pont a été réalisé en mai et juin 1914, ainsi que les remblais bien visibles à proximité. Le tramway aurait dû passer au-dessus.
Pour accéder à cette cache, vous pouvez laisser votre voiture dans le village de Macornay, place près de l'église ou bien vous garer au waypoint suggéré, c'est le lieu où il aurait dû y avoir un passage à niveau du tram sur la route de Bornay.

In the early twentieth century a tramway project linking Lons-le-Saunier in Saint-Julien-sur-Suran born, but the work was never completed.
The project started in 1901 for a final route in 1912. Work began in 1913 but remained unfinished due to abandonment in 1926.

LE PONCEAU

This bridge was completed in May and June 1914, and embankments visible nearby. The tram should pass over.
To access this cache, you can leave your car in the village of Macornay, place near the church or park at waypoint suggested, this is the place where it should have been a level crossing on the tram Bornay road.
