The cache is placed on Larnaca beach at the beginning of Finikoudes. Although signs state otherwise, parking is now permitted along Finikoudes and there is also a FREE carpark nearby - see waypoint below.
Due to frequent muggling, we have reluctantly archived our Ahoy There Shipmates cache which was positioned along Larnaca marina pier. We hope that cachers will still enjoy a stroll beside the private and tourist trip boats either before or after finding this cache.
Larnaca has become a host city for beach volleyball competitions, with the most recent event being the Swatch Youth World Championships held in July 2012.
We have selected a difficulty rating of 2, but it may prove to be more challenging than this in the summer months.
