Geocache Description:

This is a spot of modern music history - the filming location of Bob Dylan's famous 1963 music video for the song "Subterranean Homesick Blues". The video is considered by many as one of the first music videos ever made. The clip was later released in 1967 as a promotional film for the movie "Dont Look Back" by D. A. Pennebaker, documenting Dylan's 1965 tour of England.

The filming location is a dead end street behind the Savoy Hotel in London just off "Savoy Hill". Please refer to http://www.popspotsnyc.com/Subterranean/ for a detailed description of the location when the video was shot and now.

Additional to the clip filmed in the back of the Savoy Hotel, to alternative version where shot in the Embankment Gardens, near to the Hotel, and possible on the roof of the Hotel.
