Geocache Description:

This cache lasted for a while and many people visited the place. Unfortunately they modified the bridge and my old cache box is now behind brickes I guess. Replaced it with a new, bigger box but had to increase the difficulty But most cachers are sporty anyhow and will enjoy I hope. Parking is possible very close by. There might be fishing muggles. Enjoy the view ! (sorry, sometimes it's a bit smelly though...)

The skyline of Dubai has grown to an impressive size. Also from this location you have a nice view on the Burj Al Arab. Actually you rarely find this view on pictures. There are stories (rumours?) that some people criticise that the Burj Al Arab from this side looks like a Christian Cross. It's said that even people wanted that the hotel will be demolished again because of this. Well, one thing that I like about Dubai is the openess and the harmonic way how soo many people from different countries, different cultures, different colours live peacefully together. And the Burj Al Arab is just a great icon for Dubai and the whole region. Even after years I still enjoy looking at it.
