Igreja Matriz de S. Martinho de Estoi
A igreja primitiva de São Martinho, de origem medieval, foi construída pelo povo da aldeia de Estoi, tendo sido alterada no séc. XVI, quando Estoi passou a ser sede de freguesia. Com estas alterações o templo passou a contar com três naves e quatro tramos, sem um transepto, apresentando uma cobertura única em madeira para todas as naves.
Após o terramoto de 1755, a igreja teve de ser reconstruída, por ordem de D. Francisco Gomes de Avelar, Bispo do Algarve, com a orientação do arquitecto italiano Francisco Xavier Fabri, que respeitou as linhas pré-existentes, introduzindo contudo uma fachada neoclássica.

The primitive church of St. Martin, of medieval origin, was built by the people of the village of Estoi, having been modified in the XVI century, when Estoi became the parish headquarters. With these changes, the temple has now three naves and four legs, without a transept, with a single wooden cover to all naves.
After the 1775 earthquake, the church had to be rebuilt by order of D. Francisco Gomes de Avelar, Bishop of the Algarve, with the guidance of the Italian architect Francisco Xavier Fabri, complied with the pre-existing lines, but introducing a neoclassical front.
