Virginia is quickly becoming known for more than just lovers. Counties such as Loudoun and Shenandoah Valley are being reported in the top 10 up-and-coming wine regions. Locals are learning that a little country air, a couple bottles of wine, and a group of friends is the perfect way to relax after a long week working in and around DC.
Being both geocaching and wine enthusiasts, some friends and I have decided to start a VA Wine Trail of geocaches. We hope you enjoy!
We hope you enjoy searching for this cache in the shadow of an 1800's farm house. A great place to spend an afternoon on their porch with friends, new and old!
The lovely people at Old House have given us permission to place this cache, so please respect their business hours (Fall, Winter, Spring: Th-M 12-5; Summer Sun-Th 12-5, Fri 12-6, Sat 11-6).
Note: No flowers need to be trampled in the retrievel of this cache.
