Geocache Description:

You must first pass over the Final GZ then take the first RH turn.

Welcome to the Rainy Day Drive By series.

This is the first series I have actually got around to publishing. I have been working on another for quite some time and had planned over the Christmas holiday to finally get out there and set the caches in place. However, with the constant rain and exceptionally muddy footpaths everywhere, and despite my love of Geocaching, I just couldn’t find the enthusiasm to go outside and get soaked through again. I therefore decided that the Geocaching community needed a series that could be completed in bad weather and without getting covered up to your armpits in mud when the urge to find a cache just has to be satisfied!!

The route actually follows one of my cycling routes I do in better weather. It is just over 23 miles long and the series contains 26 caches all of which are cache and dashes.

At the top of each cache page I have given a suggested parking and approach for each cache to save you having to cross busy roads. It would be helpful to view these in advance of arriving at GZ!

All of the hides should be easy to find and are nothing particularly special with very specific hints. You are looking for either a 35mm micro or a 60ml screw cap pot. This is just about satisfying the need to find a good number of caches in bad weather!

The caches are not numbered but I have written the instructions as if you started at Drizzle, on the A284 just south of Patching, and completed the circuit in an anticlockwise direction.

You should not need to park illegally to get to any of these caches.

Please observe the Highway Code at all times, drives safely and have fun!

I couldn't resist squeezing a Church Micro into the series. It is a multi but you should be able to gett he information for it without leaving your car!

At the given coordinates you will find a large notice board.
The second line on the sign has 8 words in it. Count the number of letters in each word and make these 8 numbers A-H.
At the bottom of the sign you will see the Church Administrator's phone number, take this to be JKLMN PQRSTU.

The cache can then be found at:
N50° 5(G-F).S(E+C)(T+U) W000° 3(R-A).(L-D)(N+Q-H)((P/B)-U)

If anybody would like to expand the Church Micro series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
