Church Micro 3231…Bradford on Avon Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

antpeng: Sorry, Valliant Knight, for your wasted trip - it has indeed gone.

In hindsight it wasn't the best place to put a cache. Users of the bus stop could easily spot a poorly re-hidden cache and of course they're likely to be there on a regular basis so can easily investigate if a cacher is not stealthy enough.
Still, I learnt how the process works, and really appreciate the logs and even a couple of favourite points. Thanks

Geocache Description:

This can be done as a cache and dash (check the parking waypoints because the layby next to GZ is actually a bus stop)
It's a mag-nano so please just initial the log with your own pen and replace the cache underneath and as far back and centrally as possible to stop it being noticed.
Could future seekers not grab it while there are muggles at the bus stop - either visit the church, or there is a bench over the road. Buses are frequent so you shouldn't have to wait long. Thanks.

The Anglican Christ Church is located in the north of Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. It is in the Bradford Deanery of the Diocese of Salisbury. In the early 19th century a desire by local residents not to have to travel down the hill into the centre of Bradford to worship led to the parish of Christ Church being created and the church commissioned in 1839. The architect was G.P.Manners of Bath. The simple style was made more elaborate in 1875 by Sir George Gilbert Scott. It has a ring of eight bells cast by Gillett & Johnston of Croydon, which the local campanologists put to good use on a monday evening. As the church is perched at the top of the hill the tall spire is a prominent landmark that can be seen for miles around to the south and east. The church also features as a set in the film about the life of Charles Darwin.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
