Geocache Description:

I am reactivating my challenge caches, but if the incorrect logging continues I will be forced to archive them.

READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY

  • If you log a find without following the logging requirements on the cache page your log will be permanently deleted.
  • If you log a find without meeting the qualifications for the challenge your log will be deleted, but you may relog it whenever you do qualify.
  • NOTE: Referencing Project GC as proof that you qualify DOES NOT meet the logging requirements for any of these caches. Project GC is not always right, and they have a disclaimer on their page stating that.

This is part of a series of challenge caches which are all about non-traditional cache types.  Some will be easy, and designed to introduce new cachers to these other cache types.  Others will be difficult for even the most experienced cachers.  Most will fall somewhere between these extremes.  Anybody may log any of the challenges, and may use new or old finds to qualify.  The only requirement is that you meet the challenge shown below.  The actual hides will be easy, the difficulty rating reflects the difficulty of the challenge.  The terrain rating is for the actual hide.

This is the fourth challenge in this series for January, and it is quite challenging.  A local cacher told me about a similar challenge in Oregon, and I discovered that there was also one in Oregon that is almost exactly like this one (GC32TBZ).  Please read the requirements carefully to be sure you qualify.

You may sign the log at any time, but you can only log the cache after you meet the requirements below.

To prove that you meet the requirements include a bookmark list showing all the qualifying caches. Include this cache on the list as well. If you do not use bookmark lists you may include a full list in your log. Your list must include the GC numbers, cache names and find date for the caches that you are using to qualify for the challenge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Find 31 earthcaches in a 31 day period.
  2. The days must be consecutive, but do not have to be all in the same month.
  3. You do NOT have to have a cache on each day, just 31 total over the 31 day period.
  4. Special kudos to anyone who meets this challenge during a calendar month.

Do not park on Rt. 5.  There is a convenient parking space right next to the cache on the side street off Rt. 5.

To verify that I have met the requirements of this cache, I have added a bookmark list to this page.  I found 31 earthcaches during May 2012, and 33 earthcaches in the period from May 5 and June 3, 2012.

Have fun with this.
