Jour de la marmotte
Selon la tradition apportée par les immigrants d’origine germanique dans certaines parties du continent nord-américain, le jour de Chandeleur (2 février), la marmotte sort de son terrier. Si le temps est nuageux, elle restera dehors, ce qui signifie que l’hiver finira bientôt. Par contre, si le temps est lumineux et clair, elle verra son ombre et effrayée, elle se refugiera de nouveau dans son terrier. Et l’hiver continuera encore pendant six semaines supplémentaires…
À l’occasion de la célébration du Jour de la marmotte qui peut signifier le début de la fin de l’hiver (!!!), vous êtes invités à un brunch. En plus de manger et boire, nous discuterons de tout et de rien, mais surtout du géocaching! Comme vous le savez déjà, il est toujours plaisant de se retrouver en compagnie d’amis et d’amateurs d’un passe-temps aussi passionant. N’oubliez pas d’amener vos trackables, on ferra l’échange.

Groundhog Day
According to folklore brought by the immigrants of german origin to some parts of North American continent, on Candlemas Day (February, 2nd), a groundhog will emerge from its burrow. If it’s cloudy, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. On the other hand, if it’s sunny, the groundhog will see its own shadow and, afraid by it, will retreat back to its burrow. And winter will continue for six more weeks…
On the occasion of Groundhog Day which might signify the beginning of the end of winter (!!!), you are invited to a brunch. Beside eating and drinking, we’ll talk about anything and everything, but mostly about geocaching! As you know, it’s always pleasant to get together with friends and enthusiasts of a passionate hobby. Don’t forget to bring your trackables, we’ll trade them.
