Darth Leviosa: Archiving a set of caches which includes this one. Sadly, the small puzzle community is not very active anymore, so there's no real point in keeping these around. My thanks and kudos to those who put in the time to solve the puzzles and find the caches. I hope you had a memorable experience.

Geocache Description:

NOTE: THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!

This is an overhaul of the cache LOST placed by Darth Leviosa and '<{QUACK} on 11/22/11. There are significant differences with this new cache.

This is a puzzle multi cache consisting of 3 stages. There is NO interstate travel needed to complete this cache, but there is a little driving involved.

This cache pays tribute to one of the best television shows of all time: Lost. The pilot episode was fantastic and really grabs you. For me, the show really took off once the castaways found the mysterious Hatch. You will need to solve a Lost-related puzzle at each stage to ultimately obtain coordinates to the final.

To solve the puzzles, it's best if you've watched the entire Lost series. If you haven't watched it, go watch it! It's great! If you don't have the time, you should be able to find the answers with a little detective work. Obviously, there are references to Lost in the puzzles, so they could be considered semi-spoilers if you haven't seen the show and plan to watch it.

Stage 1 Puzzle
To obtain the coordinates to Stage 1, you need to visit The Hatch and perform the exact action that set the events of the series in motion.

Note: Stage 1 is within 3 miles of the posted coordinates. If you get coordinates farther away than that, then you are doing it wrong.


On your adventure, it is recommended you bring a smartphone that is capable of viewing a website.

- Stage 1 contains the address of a website you will need to visit to view the puzzle to solve for the coordinates to the next stage. The puzzle can be solved in the field.

- Stage 2 also contains the address of a website you will need to visit to view the puzzle to solve for the coordinates to the final stage. This puzzle can also be solved in the field. I recommend parking to the east of Stage 2 to improve your stealthiness.

- The Final may be easier to reach if you have some extra equipment, but it's not necessarily required.

PLEASE LEAVE THE PUZZLES IN THE STAGES. The terrain rating may vary based on several factors. Bring your own writing implement, beware of muggles, re-hide as found, obey all local laws, etc., etc.
