LE PONT DE LA PRADE


FRANCAIS

La construction de ce pont date du XIVe siècle.

Composé de deux arches en plein cintre avec une pile médiane à becs aigus en amont et en aval. Dans la partie centrale, le tablier est horizontal. Il s'abaisse vers les deux extrémités, en deux parties d'inégale inclinaison. La construction est en calcaire.
Avec des ouvertures de 23,10 m, les arches de ce pont sont les plus grandes du Rouergue. La pile a une épaisseur de 4,70 m.

Il est inscrit au titre des monuments historiques en 1944.

The construction of this bridge(deck) dates the XIVth century.

Consisted of two arcs in full round arch(hanger) with a median pile with acute beaks upstream and downstream. In the central part, the apron is horizontal. It falls towards both extremities, in two parts of uneven slope. The construction is in limestone.
With openings of 23,10 m, the arcs of this bridge are the biggest of Rouergue. The pile has a thickness of 4,70 m.

It's registered in conformance with historic monuments in 1944.
