Geocache Description:

Samui is an island with a lot of different faces.
This simple cache represents the most elegant and most expensive sind of Samui.
Santiburi (means peaceful happy place) is the name of one of the most luxurious hotels in Thailand and it was the first of this level on the island. It is situated in Maenam.
Some years later in 2005 the Santiburi Golf Course was openend - one of the best in the world.
By the way, the owner of Singha Beer Company - Khun Santi Bhirombhakdi - initiated the Santiburi resorts and Santiburi golf courses in Thailand.
If you join the sign to the golf course there you will have a great view from the restaurant over the north coast. In front of you there is the golf area. Hundreds of coconut trees had been cut for that.
But enjoy your cappucchino or beer!
