Geocache Description:

Close to the cache is an amazing lookout where you can see the ocean and the beach, while you are there you may spot shipping boats, dolphins, whales, bronzed lifeguards and ladies in bikinis.

This beautiful area was named by Captain Cook as his ship sailed past, named after the red colour of the rock on the headland. The town itself started out as a mining town, but is now a lovely beachside suburb.

There is a small path down to the lookout, cache is near the main lookout.
Cache is a small sistema container. Thanks to Bethy_n for maintaining this cache
