Geocache Description:

Find 5 caches with the stand-alone words "Bad" or "Baad" in the cache name.

This cache IS at the posted location. However, in order to log a found, you must first meet the challenge requirement of finding and logging at least 5 geocaches with the stand-alone words "Bad" or "Baad" in their name. "Bad boy" and "Having a Baad day" both count, while "Baden Powell" would not. Any cache found at any time, any where, counts for this challenge.

In your log for this cache, please list the cache name and GC code for your 5 bad caches.

Difficulty rating is based on finding 5 other caches. Actual hide is probably a 1.5/1.5.


  • This cache is in honor of Baad Daata. Baad Daata (Penny) is one of the top Geocachers in the country and lives right up the road in Utah. At the time of this post, she has hidden nearly 1,000 geocaches, and has found over 35,000 caches.
  • Sorry about the title, I had to change the criteria at the last minute and was too lazy to correct the title.
  • No, Penny has NOT been caching for half a century.   ;-)

update, 3/11/15: I updated the description for qualifying caches to have the stand alone words "bad" or "baad" in the title. I intended it that way from the beginning and just realized I was not clear. All old logs still count. :)
