A once busy stretch of road to the coast, now a quiet diverted roadway on the way to the Kowen Forest mountain biking area
David 'Groo' Hoschke was a great friend to many. Dave was a tree surgeon with his own business 'Groos Landscaping Services'. Driving back from quoting a job in Bungendore a careless driver took his life.
Recently the Kings Highway was diverted away from this spot and you can now pull over and reflect on the dangers of the Coast Road.
Far from a sad spot, Groo loved life with a passion that few have.
Here is to you Groo, gone but never forgotten
