Geocache Description:

Walking The Dog: Cord - one of a series of caches placed  with the four-pawed assistance of JC Cache Dawg.

This cache is a field-puzzle. The published coordinates are fake. Do Not Go There.
The cache is located at:
S J D° I O . E N A
E H C L° M F . B G K

S ___ ___° ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___

E ___ ___ ___° ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___

To resolve the location - and thus locate this physical cache, there are three other Traditional Caches that must be found first. They are all within dog walking distance of each other. If you are walking, I'd suggest starting at Start Of The Walk as the route is part of a dog-walking trail that JC Cache Dawg & I often used to partake of, with a bit of adventure thrown in.

As the caches below are (obviously) near a lake edge, there is ample opportunity to practice CITO with wind-driven items. And for the dog walkers, please take and use bags to pick up your dog's droppings. There's a rubbish bin next to WTD: 5K Rule. (How Convenient...)

Actually, I also practice the fine art of TOCI (Trash Out, Cache In) here and have an eclectic collection of items to be used as 'camo' for this and future caches. Yes, the cache name will make sense once you locate and are ready to log it.

Unfortunately it is not - currently - possible to utilise a wheelchair to locate this cache. An urban-stroller may have difficulty. However developments to the area may change this in the future. There are multiple routes to this cache via well defined steps and paths. There is also level access if you paws (sic.) to think about it a wee while. ;)

The cache itself was last seen in a clear 2 litre sistema container. Of course the cache's location was averaged over time using a Garmin Oregon 300. Someone stole the camo, so the name may not make sense any more. It contained, at cache placement:

  • FTF Prize - DNF badge - wear it with pride!
  • Essentials - Waterproof Log Sheet / Pen.
  • Swappables - Few creepy swappables, spiders & snakes & stuff - The sort you may expect to find in a container like this. It would be great if any swaps were themed in a similar way.
  • Seed A Cache - Berocca Container no swap required if you use to create a new cache
  • TB - Stinky The Fish and Socko!
