Hickaton Hill is located south of Pupers Hill and is crossed by the Two Moors Way. Hickaton Hill is the site of a prehistoric pound of the bronze age containing several hut circles. Although this pound and hut circles are not listed as scheduled monuments, this cache is situated at a reasonable distance outside of the pound and not far off the Two Moors Way.
Interestingly, as we were searching for a hide for this cache an ideal hide was found, but it contained the very new Hickaton Hill letterbox, so we sited this cache on the opposite side of the pound.
