Cette chapelle est construite sur l'éperon rocheux du fief Angelier par la famille qui possède le château du Bois-Bide, afin de remplacer une ancienne chapelle dédiée à saint Michel et dépendant du prieuré de la Cour-Bénite. Elle est la chapelle funéraire de cette famille
Situé en contrebas de la chapelle des Saints-Anges-Gardiens, sur la pente, le calvaire de style finistérien est l'œuvre du sculpteur Donnard, originaire de Landerneau.
