Thanks to all who came out today. I hope that everyone had fun in spite of the rain. I enjoyed meeting everyone. I hope we can do this again sometime soon.
This Cache page will remain active until the end of the month to allow all those who attended to log in. After that it will be archived. All Caches except Merlins Family Album, NASCAR, and Your Lure will be archived at the end of the month.
Come one, Come all! Many of these caches may only
be available for ONE DAY! This is a welcome invite for
all Geocachers to attend and meet one another. The Caches will be located in the
Fran Uhler Nature Area. The coordinates listed are marked for the trail
head and not the individual caches.
None of these caches will be hard to find and they
are not intended to be much of a challenge. The fun of it all is to find
them together and meet a fellow Cacher! In response to some concerns this is a
Dog Friendly park as well!
Bring a friend you've been trying to get hooked on Geocaching! This is the perfect introduction you've been waiting for!
The search will begin at 10am Sunday, March 17th
2002 at the above posted coordinates and we'll see what goes on from there.
There are 8 caches planned for this event all
within reasonable walking distance. Each cache is located in some rather
interesting scenery each with a theme of their own.
In addition to "NASCAR Cache My Draft" and
"Your Lure To Fran Uhler" This is the time to grab them too if you haven't
already! We'll even allow you to log a second visit for this special occasion!
This is an easy way to bag 10 caches in one day and meet your fellow
Geocachers! That's a deal where you can't go wrong! But wait thats not all! We'll throw in an 11th cache find because you can log your attendance here! Limited Time offer, Not available in stores! NO COD's please..

ATTENTION! If you have already downloaded the waypoints for these caches prior to Mar. 15th some of them may be off by a few hundred feet. I made this discovery this evening while confirming locations. The entries on each cache post have been corrected. Sorry for any inconveinence.
