Geocache Description:

Placed in a park running along the River Nore and close to the city centre.

The cache is placed close to a big sundial which was commisioned by The Arts Council to mark the succes of Kilkenny winning the Bord Failte Tidy Towns Competition in 1985. It was made by Brian King and errected by Kilkenny Corporation in August 1985 and unveiled by Magarat Tynan, mayor of Kilkenny.

If you are lucky enough to find the cache on a sunny day, see if you can figure out what time it is according to the sundial.
