Some time ago I found Bear Swamp a Walkin' Ed Cache. I enjoyed the steep climb up and made my find after some time. Unfortunatly the smiley disappeared from the map, because Ed archived the cache. So time goes by and a new one shows up... Team Geofrog placed closeby Palisades View.
I decided to place some more close by and here we go. This ammo box contains all kind of things related to fishing. Once you find it, you will know. Enjoy and trade fair!
Acquired in 1979, this property is the result of a gift from the Winston C. Perry family, who donated the County's 50% share of the acquisition cost. It fulfills a need for passive recreation in the area. Trails exist in the park. The area is rich in Indian lore, scenic beauty and panoramic views. Several years ago a wandering bear visited the park before traveling back north. Mountain Brook Estates Corporation donated fourteen acres in 1997. The property is located on the east side of Mountainview Avenue. The Long Path Hiking Trail is located on this section of property.
You can find a map HERE.
This cache has the permit 031.
