This lake is formed by Cidreira Stream which flows into Almas River one of the main tributaries of the Paranapanema River.
Paranapanema River is one of the most important rivers of São Paulo State, it runs from East to West most of it dividing the two states (São Paulo from Parana), and finally joining Parana River.
Este lago é formado pelo Córrego Cidreira que desagua no Rio das Almas um dos principais tributarios do Rio Paranapanema.
O Rio Paranapanema é um dos rios mais importantes do Estado de São Paulo, que corre do Leste ao Oeste, maior parte dividindo os dois estados (São Paulo / Parana), e finalmente liga no Rio Parana.
