Riding for a cause

The project Iceland Expedition consists in Luso-Portuguese duo Ricardo Mendes and Filomena Gomes, who like being children and dreaming! This pair is moved by positive energy and its philosophy is oriented towards trips that inspire and challenge, them bringing people together and protecting our planet’s.Traveling by bike they focus on what matters, to help ...
Being the 2nd solidarity trip performed by the duo of cyclists, this is a journey that helps to dream because the idea is simple and is supported by a willingness to help. As easy as riding a bike!
They adventure begins on August 27, towards the island of Iceland, situated below the Arctic Circle, with more than 200 volcanoes and 12% of the landscape in the form of glaciers and plateau interspersed with mountain peaks, where they intend to ride during 2000 kilometers and help us to realize the dream of two children of Terra dos sonhos and convey that we can all achieve our goals in life more inspiring (dreams), if we believe in our abilities and our potential and act in a positive spirit, regardless of our condition or limitation.
We all live in a land of dreams and whit that in mind, Filomena and Ricardo follow firmly toward magical places that the bike bring’s clouse and will make possible..

Our goal is to spread the dream througth the world and inspire Geocachers to dream more and pass the message of Terra dos Sonhos.

For that we will spread Dream’s caches around the World, in countries where we accomplish children and youth’s dreams (Eurodisney, Rome, NY, Lapland ...).
