Nos encontramos en la parte más occidental de la Península del Morrazo, en la zona terrestre más cercana a las islas cies, pertenecientes al Parque Nacional de las Islas Atlánticas, situadas tan sólo a menos 2,5 km. La zona adquiere un gran valor natural y paisajístico debido a sus cabos y acantilados y a su diversidad en la flora y fauna.
Entre estos dos cabos se encuentra la hermosa Playa de Melide con una extensión de 250 m de largo y 40 m de ancho y rodeada de un gran pinar. Llaman la atención sus aguas limpias y cristalinas. Justo en frente se sitúan las Islas Cies. El único acceso a esta playa se realiza por una pista sin asfaltar por lo que la mantiene hoy por hoy practicamente virgen. Desde Cabo Home comienza la rocosa y abrupta costa llamada Costa da Vela o Costa de Soavela.
En la punta de Cabo Home nos encontramos con otro faro más esbelto, alto y de forma cilíndrica y color blanco. Este es un o de los faros más altos de Galicia y es el punto terrestre más cercano a las Islas Cíes. En Punta Subrido se encuentra otro faro más, muy similar al este último. La única diferencia con el anterior es que este consta de dos pisos y no tres como el de Cabo Home.

Este cache se encuentra en una zona un tanto peligrosa, se llea sin dificultad pero recomiendo que para cojerlo no bajen niños. Espero que os gusten las vistas.
We are in the westernmost part of the Morrazo Peninsula, in the nearest land to the Cies Islands, belonging to the National Park of the Atlantic Islands, located just a least 2.5 km. The area becomes a great natural and scenic value due to their capes and cliffs and its diversity in flora and fauna.
Between these two ends is the beautiful beach Melide with an extension of 250 m long and 40 m wide, surrounded by a large pine forest. Call attention to its crystal clear waters. Right in front Cies Islands are located. The only access to this beach is via a dirt road so the remains virtually untouched today. From Cape Home starts and abrupt rocky coast called Costa da Vela or Soavela Coast.
At the tip of Cape Home lighthouse we find another more slender, tall and cylindrical and white. This is one or the tallest lighthouses in Galicia and is the nearest land Cies Islands. In Punta Subrido lighthouse is another, very similar to the latter. The only difference with this is that this consists of two floors and not three as Cape Home.

This cache is located in a somewhat dangerous, but is easily ILEA recommend that children do not get cojerlo. I hope you like the view.
