mikeb226: this cache was destroyed by some terrible people. Will relocate a new version to a new place far far away so you can enjoy finding it again.

This cache is a blatant copy of a cache I had done in Central Ohio. Liked it so much, I thought it needed to be done here.
Hopefully you will have as much fun with this cache as I had.
Anyway, Lake Effect Snow is one of the reasons I love living in this area. Edinboro in notorious for being smack dab in the middle of the Lake effect snowbelt.
In some winters, there will be snowfalls of up to 4 feet or more, if the conditions are right. Repeatedly.
What happens is a cold dry airmass comes from the far north over the warm waters of Lake Erie. The cold air picks up a lot of moisture, which then turns into snowfall in bands south of the lake. The area affected the most is about 15-20 miles inland, or, as I call it, Edinboro.
Edinboro has been known to receive upwards of 200+ inches of snow some years.
A lot of people complain, but yet, they never leave. hmmmm....
So, this is my tribute to the local weather phenomenon I actually happen to enjoy each year. :)

I've moved the location of the cache due to some less-than-nice muggles. Because of this move, you'll need to know where to start to get at it, so I added some trailhead coordinates. Have fun!
