Ascona is the lowest place of Switzerland. This cache is even lower!

Ad Ascona ci sono già diversi geocache e quindi non vi descriverò la bella città e la bella vista che si gode in piazza. Ascona, tra le altre cose, è anche il punto più basso della Svizzera (source).

Se volete fare una nuotata a Ascona avete due opzioni: il bagno pubblico che è gratuito e il lido che è a pagamento dalle 9 alle 17. Il cache è piazzato in modo da essere raggiungibile da entrambi. Il punto GPS 'parcheggio' punta a quello del bagno pubblico. Durante le vacanze estive o le ore di punta è possibile che dobbiate lasciare l'automobile anche molto più lontano.

Ma veniamo al cache! A meno che siate un orso polare, questo cache è agibile solamente se la temperatura del lago lo permette: si trova esattamente dove mostrato sulla mappa. Se non volete portare il vostro GPS per 100m (circa) a nuoto, vi consiglio di decrittare l'indizio. Per spezzare a metà la nuotata c'è pure una zattera. Occhialini o maschera sono raccomandati. Se non vi va di nuotare c'è pure la possibilità di noleggiare una barchetta o un pedalò in piazza (punto GPS indicato), è pure molto bello dare un'occhiata a Ascona dal lago! Notate che anche con la barca dovrete immergervi almeno un metro per raggiungere il cache.

In Ascona gibt es bereits viele Caches, deswegen werde ich hier nicht die wunderschöne Stadt und den tollen Blick von der Piazza beschreiben. Denn Ascona ist auch der niedrigste Punkt in der Schweiz.

Wenn ihr in Ascona schwimmen wollt, gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten: Das „Bagno Pubblico“, das immer geöffnet hat, und das „Lido“ das ein geringes Eintrittsgeld erhebt und zwischen 9 h und 17 h geöffnet hat. Der Cache ist so platziert, dass er von beiden Stellen aus erreicht werden kann. Die Parkmöglichkeit in den Waypoints führt euch zum „Bagno Pubblico“. Während der Ferien und Hauptsaison ist es allerdings wahrscheinlich, dass ihr euer Auto etwas weiter weg parken müsst.

Aber nun zum Cache: Wenn ihr kein Eisbär sein solltet, ist der Cache nur erreichbar wenn es die Wassertemperatur zulässt: Er ist genau an der Stelle, die auf der Karte markiert ist. Wenn ihr das GPS nicht die (etwa) 100 m Schwimmen bis zum Cache mitnehmen wollt, schaut euch den Hint an. Es gibt auch ein Floß, um die Strecke in zwei Abschnitten zu schwimmen. Ich würde euch dringend eine Taucherbrille empfehlen.
Wenn ihr aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht schwimmen wollt, könnt ihr auch ein kleines Boot an der Piazza mieten (Koordinaten sind angegeben) und damit dorthin gelangen. Es ist auch besonders schön, vom See aus einen Blick auf Ascona zu werfen. Allerdings müsst ihr auch wenn ihr mit dem Boot kommt einen Meter zum Cache tauchen.

Bitte trocknet euch die Hände ab, bevor ihr die Dose öffnet. Ein Stift ist nicht dabei.

In Ascona there are many chaches already, therefore I will not describe the beautiful city, and the nice view you can get from the main square. Ascona is also the lowest point of switzerland (source).

If you want to have a swim in Ascona you have two main options: the "Bagno Pubblico", which is always free and the "Lido" which has a small entrance fee between 9AM and 5PM, the cache is placed so that you can reach it from both of them. The parking in the waypoints however, will lead you to the "Bagno Pubblico". During holydays and during peaktimes it is likely that you will have to park your car a bit far away.

But let's get to the cache. Unless you are a polar bear, this cache is only available when the water temperature permits: it is exactly where show in the map. If you don't want to bring the GPS with you in the 100m (approximatly) swim to the cache, just look at the given hint. Also there is a raft to break in two parts the swim. I highly recommend goggles. If you don't like the idea of swimming for any reason, you could also rent a small boat on the main square (Coordinates provided) and get there with it. It is also very very nice to get a view to Ascona's square from the lake. Note that also with a boat you will have to dive a meter to get to te cache.

Please dry your hands before opening it. A pen is not included.
