Esta cache leva-vos ao concelho da Pampilhosa da Serra, onde a natureza se faz sentir de maneira mais intensa do que noutros locais!
This cache leads you to the Pampilhosa da Serra council, where nature is felt more intensely than elsewhere!
Narciso era um jovem pastor que vivia na aldeia do Vidual de Cima, há muitos, muitos anos... antes ainda da chegada dos Mouros a este recanto!
A sua vida era passada pela serra, pastoreando as suas cabras, conhecendo bem cada recanto fantástico que a natureza por aqui oferece.
Um dia, ouvindo o murmurar da água por perto, encontrou um poço onde, espreitando sobre a água, viu o seu próprio reflexo. Esta visão enfeitiçou-o, dado que até aí nunca vira nada tão bonito. Desde esse momento, toda a sua vida passou a ser dedicada à contemplação do seu reflexo, deixando de se importar com o seu rebanho, a sua casa, a sua família, nunca mais abandonando aquele local que descobrira!
Narciso rapidamente definhou, acabando por morrer solitário neste local mágico que agora podes também descobrir.

Narcissus was a youth pastor who lived in the village of Vidual de Cima, many, many years ago... even before the arrival of the Moors at this corner!
His life was spent in the mountains, herding their goats, knowing every fantastic nook that nature offers here.
One day, listening to the murmur of water nearby, he found a pit where, peering over the water, he saw his own reflection. This view bewitched him since until then, he had never seen anything so beautiful. From that moment on, his life became devoted to the contemplation of his own reflection, caring no more for his flock, his home, his family, never leaving that place he had discovered!
Narcissus quickly withered and died, lonely, at this magical place that now you can also discover.

A CACHE
Para chegares à cache tens de deixar o carro no ponto aconselhado e, a partir daí, seguires o percurso pedestre assinalado até chegares ao Poço do Caldeirão.
A cache é de tamanho small e encontra-se a pouco mais de 600 metros do local aconselhado de estacionamento. Não tem material de escrita! Levem roupa e calçado confortável, será necessário algum cuidado para chegar ao local da cache principalmente no acesso final.
Tirem fotos, apreciem o local e deixem tudo tal como encontraram ou melhor ainda. No Verão o fato de banho poderá dar jeito!
Esta cache não deve ser realizada de noite pois pode tornar-se extremamente perigosa. Durante o Inverno ou se estiver a chover, será também necessário muita precaução e cuidados redobrados pois o terreno fica mais complicado por ser escorregadio. Se não te sentires em segurança... não arrisques.
NOTA: Visitámos a cache no Inverno. Vejam os atributos! Em dias de chuva é muito perigoso aceder à cache. Mesmo sem chuva, todos os cuidados são poucos, mas é possível lá chegar!
THE CACHE
To reach the cache you have to leave the car at the advised point and, from there, follow the marked footpath until you reach the Pit of the Cauldron.
The cache size is small and it is just over 600 meters from the recommended parking site. It does not have writing material! Bring comfortable shoes and clothes, you will need some care to get to the cache site especially in it's final access.
Take pictures, enjoy the site and leave everything as found or better. In the summer, bathing suit may come in handy!
This cache should not be done at night because it can become extremely dangerous. During the winter or when raining, it will be also necessary a lot of caution and extra care because the terrain is more complicated (it is slippery). If you do not feel safe... do not risk.
NOTE: We visited the cache on Winter. See the attributtes! On rainy days it's very dangerous to go to the final location. Even without rain, you have to be very careful, but it's possible to get there!
