It is time for the Autumn Cleaning along Highway 30 in Benton County. This 2 miles section has been adopted by Iowa Geocachers Organization and is between CR-V66 (Blairstown turn off) to the East and roughly 16th Avenue to the West. Our signs are posted!
Parking is in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery on the North side of the road about 5 miles West of Youngville Cafe.
Please bring your grabbers, gloves and snow/rain gear just in case. We will have "pokey sticks", trash bags, safety vests and bottles of water.(we will also bring some hand sanitizer wipes)
Meet up at the cemetery parking area at 9:30am and that is also where we will meet for a prize drawing after.
This area does not look to terribly bad and if we get a nice size group we can "knock it out" in under 2 hours. There are no restrooms along this area and no businesses, this is all rural area. Please plan accordingly.
