A stroll through the Engelska Parken in Söderfors, completed in 1795.
Parken började anläggas år 1794 av Adolf Ulric Grill. Det grekiska templet i dorisk stil stod färdigt 1797, med Theseustemplet i Aten som förebild. Det byggdes först i trä, men reparerades 1803-04 då träpelarna byttes ut mot murade och putsade kolonner.
Missa inte de andra minnesmärkena i parken;
Monumentet vid templet över Adolf Ulric Grills mor Anna Johanna,
Minnesstenen vid älven med minnesord över Anna Johanna, och
Stengrottan med en minnessten över Adolf Ulrics och hans hustrus enda barn som dog endast fyra år gammal.
The park was built in 1794 by Adolf Ulric Grill. The Greek temple in Doric style, was completed in 1797, with the Theseus temple in Athens as a model. It was first built of wood, but was repaired 1803-04 when the wooden pillars were replaced with plastered brick columns.
