A great little hike that will make you discover the rosamarina Crête (ridge) from Punta di a Chiappa to Carataggio Beach (known as Tahiti Beach by the tourists)
The cache is a great veiwpoint nearly 270 degrees around.
A great little hike that will make you discover the rosamarina Crête (ridge) from Punta di a Chiappa to Carataggio Beach (known as Tahiti Beach by the tourists)
The cache is a great veiwpoint nearly 270 degrees around.
The village is called Piccovaggia and it is the starting point the little hike.
During the summer season there is a Fruit/Vegetable vendor that operates a stand here. Called Piccovaggia Fruits et Légumes.
Floolow the road behind his stand and you will find a parking spot for 3 cars.
From there a foot trail leads up in to the hills.
The first waypoint is about 100 meters away. It is called Cactus House.
If you find it you are on the right path,.
THE PATH SPLITS IN TWO ABOUT 200 METERS AFTER THE CACTUS HOUS. Go Left. The right path leads to Carataggio Bay. This is also called tahiti beach by the tourists. This beach is foot access only. Half nudists, half dressed.
Floow the path. FIND a rock formation just off to the left of the path. Search!! Enjoy the view!!
