Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd of 5 in a series of Classic Movie Monsters from years ago when I was much younger than I am today.
All of these monsters are still very well known today and will continue to be for many years to come.
The series includes Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, The Wolfman, The Mummy, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

FRANKENSTEIN was a novel written by Mary Shelley about a creature that was produced by an unorthodox scientific experiment.
Frankenstein was actually the name of the doctor (Victor Frankenstein) who created the monster, not the monster's name.
Since the movie in which Boris Karloff portrayed the monster, people now commonly refer to the 'Frankenstein monster' as 'Frankenstein'.
You remember the movie.... evil doctor digs up bodies and uses the parts to 'build' a monster, brings it to life with electricity, monster gets freaked out
by fire and some nasty people, and goes on a rampage. Town chases monster, burns an old windmill in which the monster was hiding to the ground, yah dah, yah dah, yah dah.....

Bottom line... if you wear a bolt through your neck, look greenish in the face, and act a little out of the ordinary (making monster-like noises, etc.),
it might be wise to live right next door to a fire department.

The expirement that brought the monster to life required a HUGE amount of ELECTRICITY to bring the creature to life, thus this location was chosen.

Please use the road and keep off of the (private property) electrical company outpost.
