Geocache Description:

Congratulations to otterpark7 on the First to Find

This cache is the ninth in a series of caches. The plan is to put out a range of difficulty and terrain caches, as well as cache types, local to the Eglinton and surrounding areas (for my ease of maintenance). The first digit of these caches will also start with all the letters and numbers for anyone trying to complete their Alphanumeric challenge.

Please remember to note down the letter printed on the outside of the cache or the front of the logbook.

There is room for a couple of vehicles to park at the entrance to the forest at the suggested parking co-ords.

The cache is less than a 5 minute walk from the suggested car park. It is very close to the forest track, if you've taken any more than 6 steps off the track, you have gone too far.

This forest is used mainly by local dog walkers and the odd mountain biker. The track is loose gravel. Feel free to head on up the track and explore after you've signed the log.

The Cache

Its a 670ml tab lock box inside a camo bag and contains;

Rite in the Rain Logbook and a pencil
Several small swaps

Please remember to trade up or trade even. Do not leave trackables in lieu of trade items.

There is also a First to Find prize and a FTF pin badge.

Although there is ivy mentioned in the hint, please do not be put off, I wouldn't stoop low enough to use that as a means to hiding a cache. Its only mentioned as a reference point.

This cache is on Forestry Services' Land, so please respect that and remember, if you bring it, take it home with you.

A bonus cache will then be available by solving an anagram with all the collected letters from each of the previous 36 caches.

REMEMBER TO JOT DOWN AND KEEP THE LETTER PRINTED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CACHE. Happy hunting.
