Mom tried to beat the oncoming blizzard so she could be stuck at her friends house and instead she got stuck at this precise location for 18 hours!!!
What does one do stuck in a car for 18 hrs?? Play solitare, text friends, try not to let the wind freak you u out or think about the fact that your car is turning into a gigantic snowdrift.. She says it wasn't so bad when she could still get out the drivers door or see past the headlights.. It's when the doors don't open and the headlights get covered that dread sets in...
A cop showed up about 3 hours after being stuck and says "you realize you're in the middle of the road??" It's like really?!?! What do you say to that? I'm sorry I really planned all that... The cop returned to his car and at some point he left her by herself..
she says looking back she wishes she had a pillow or water, some granola bars, something other then a other then a bottle of tequila...
Eventually, 18 hrs later, a snow plow came along and got her unstuck, the cop must've called her in because the snowplow men knew there was some blonde stuck along the road..
Well today it was over 104 out so a blizzard kinda sounds good to me but I'm pretty sure mom doesn't want to relive that!!
