A stop along Polvadera Mesa
Nice view of Cerro Pedernal to the north west. Head a bit further north and hike out the east, and you may be able to see the remains of the sawmill camp down in the canyon.
Roads are very bumpy, 4wd drive not needed, but would suggest clearance higher than moms van.
