Unlike in most other European capitals, Lisbon's airport is right in the center of the city. The major European airlines have daily flights which together with national airline connect the city to the rest of the continent. Low-cost carriers such also have routes to and from Lisbon. The European cities with the most flights to Lisbon are Paris, London, Barcelona and Madrid. Terminal 1 is for both international and domestic flights, while terminal 2 is for low-cost airlines. The two terminals are linked by a free shuttle.
