The Yule Troll Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bear_Left: Well, Christmas is over for another year, and now this cache is thrown out with the wrapping paper and the turkey bones.

It wasn't anything special, anyway, to be honest; just a chance to use some 'orrible puns!

Geocache Description:

Rudolph was trip-trapping merrily on his way, visions of sugarplums and fairies dancing in his head.

He suddenly realised two things.

One thing was that he was on the path that led over Yule Creek on the way to the castle, Yule Keep. And that meant going over the bridge and paying the troll. And that price wasn't cheap; it was deer. And no matter what the weather, it was reindeer...

The other thing was that heading towards him were two of his least favourite members of the herd. One of them was Luke Slike, who usually just ignored Rudolph completely. He wasn't Rudolph's problem. But Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names and never let poor Rudolph join in all the reindeer games.

Suddenly, Rudolph had an evil idea. "Hey, Olive Oyl!" he yelled. "Can I join in the spelling bee that's about to start up at the Keep?"

Olive turned to her companion, "Yule bee, Lukey? Why wasn't I told?!" and, with a cold glare at Rudolph, said "No red noses allowed!" and trotted off towards the Keep without a second thought. Across the bridge...

"Well," thought Rudolph when the bone-crunching sounds stopped "she _used_ to laugh and call me names..."
