A short series of 12 caches over a 3 mile walk on and around Kempsey Common. There are few hills on this walk, just a gentle climb to the plateau of Kempsey Common. This is a large area of open grassland with very good views over the Severn Valley and Worcester though unfortunately the M5 can frequently be heard in the distance. Dogs shoud be kept under strict control as the area is used for grazing sheep and horses.
Suitable footwear is advisable not only for walking on the common but there is a well used bridleway towards the end of the walk which does get extremely muddy after rain.
A pen/pencil and tweezers will be required for several of the caches.
Parking is available in Fox Lane near the start of the walk where the verges are wide enough for vehicles to be parked and also on the edge of the common accessible via Bestmans Lane in Kempsey village.
