Thrupp wander #1 Traditional Cache
Go catch: After speaking to a local resident I've now discovered that this bunker is frequently occupied by various inhabitants and so I decided to archive. I would not be happy knowing that there could be unsavoury persons lurking about with young ones attempting this cache.
Many thanks for all those who have taken the time to visit and I will leave the other two in the series alive as they are not affected.

A pleasant wander from the canal basin at Thrupp through new woodland towards Kidlington.
The pathways are fairly new so far have not been especially laid and at present are quite muddy, so unsuitable for buggies/strollers.
The Community Woodland was planted in the 1990s by the Forestry Commission with wildlife and conservation in mind. A network of permissive paths has been created proving interesting routes around the carefully selected species of deciduous trees. These are all growing vigorously and increasing the variety of wildlife present. Cuckoos can be heard daily in early summer, and in winter the alder trees are occupied by hungry flocks of Siskins, Redpolls and Goldfinches
