The cache is a few yards below one of two prominent peaks at the head of Thurston Hollow on the Cache Valley / Water Canyon ridge. Land west of this ridge is part of the Mount Naomi wilderness area. Land east of the ridge falls within an exclusion zone that is not part of the wilderness area.
The container is a small plastic bottle wrapped in camouflage tape and hidden behind a small pile of rocks beneath one of the live trees below the peak. There is a Sacajawea coin for the FTF.
