I am a micro (but on the large side for micro) medicine bottle hidden up the road from a very interesting National Historical Site.
I contain only a log, pencil and pencil sharpener. I didn't get to visit this interesting site but I hear it has the wonderful home, studios and gardens of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, one of America's greatest sculptors, so plan time to stop when you come to find me.
The GPS placing me in this typical caching location was struggling with those billion dollar satelites today so my coordinates may be off by a little or a lot. I wish I were closer to the historical site but I'm down the road a little bit. Just park on the side of this road by a long metal gadget and you can jump out and grab me very quickly. If you get better coordinates to find me please post them.
What do corn flakes and this historical site have in common? Here is a bit of trivia which pertains to the site down the road:
Augustus Saint-Gaudens was one of the first people to eat corn flakes. The cereal was invented by John and Will Kellogg in 1894 and commercially produced in 1906. Saint-Gaudens corresponded with Dr. John Kellogg in his later years and was prescribed Corn Flakes as a health food.
