Vaktarhúsið hjá Trónda Tróndur í Gøtas lookout Place Tróndur was the viking chef. He lived in 935-1045. He and Sigmundur Brestisson are the central figures in the Færeyinga Saga. Because he lived in Norðragøta, he didn´t have good view to the inlet. Therefore he built this lookout place, so he could have some men, who had lookouts over the inlet and if the enemy would come that way, they could send him signals.
