Múlaey is a small island north of Selvíkurtangi on the north tip of Skagi peninsula. The geological formations are spectacular, weird looking stones and impressive rocks. There is a rather frightening view towards the nearly endless North-Atlantic Ocean and the small island of Múlaey is the only thing that can be spotted on the ocean.
The cache is located a few minute drive from Kaldranavík which is known to be habitat for seals. Close to shore, from a distance of about 50 m. you can expect to see seals at as they lie sprawled on the reefs and gaze with curiosity into the eyes of tourists.
