Une croix à la mémoire des 5 hommes de la hameau du Lauzet, tué par une avalanche en 1882. Il doit avoir été une perte terrible pour une telle petite commune dans cette vallée où la vie était déjà assez difficile. Faire une pause pour reflechir,et chercher les anciennes mines de graphite haut à gauche de col du Chardonnet.
This is a cross in memory of 5 men from the tiny hamlet of Lauzet killed by an avalanche in 1882. It must have been a terrible loss to such a small commune when life in this valley was hard enough already. Pause a while and reflect, savour the views and look for the remains of the old graphite mine high up to the left of the Col du Chardonnet.
