Catedral Nueva
La Catedral de Cádiz es la sede episcopal de la diócesis de Cádiz y Ceuta, en España. Se empezó a construir en 1722 y no se terminó hasta el 28 de noviembre de 1838.
Recibe el nombre de "Santa Cruz sobre el Mar" o "Santa Cruz sobre las Aguas" aunque los gaditanos la denominan "Catedral Nueva" en contraposición a la Catedral Vieja (de la Santa Cruz), edificada en el siglo XVI sobre la antigua catedral gótica y mandada a construir por Alfonso X El Sabio. Es el único templo de culto cristiano con cúpula amarilla (algo típico de la religión musulmana)
Está situada en la Plaza de la Catedral y es visible desde casi cualquier punto de la ciudad. Tiene horario de visitas tanto para el interior del recinto como para la Torre del Poniente. La misma entrada a la catedral sirve para acceder al Museo Catedralicio, situado en la Plaza Fray Félix junto a la Catedral Vieja.

Catedral Vieja
La Catedral Vieja de Cádiz, o Iglesia de Santa Cruz, situada en la ciudad de Cádiz (Andalucía, España) es una construcción que data de 1262-1263 y que fue reedificada en estilo manierista y barroco en el siglo XVIII.
Esta catedral fue edificada por orden del rey Alfonso X de Castilla, El Sabio, en época del Papa Urbano IV, aunque ha dispuesto de periodos intermitentes de culto. Se consideró catedral hasta 1838, cuando la catedral de la ciudad se trasladó a la Catedral Nueva. Desde esa fecha, 1838, es considerada únicamente iglesia.

La cache
La cache utiliza un imán para mantenerse en su escondite y es un Micro contenedor de color negro con solamente la hoja de registros. Necesitaras un lápiz para registrate.
Ten cuidado con los muggles, a ciertas horas pueden ser numerosos y estar por todas partes.
Como extra, "La casa del Obispo" se encuentra a unos 20-30 metros de la cache y la "Catedral vieja" a unos 30 metros de la "La casa del Obispo".

Catedral Nueva
The Cathedral of Cadiz was built between 1722 and 1838. It is located in Cathedral Square and is visible from almost anywhere in the city.
It is called "Santa Cruz sobre el mar" or "Santa Cruz sobre las aguas". Although in Cadiz they call it "New Cathedral" as opposed to the "Old Cathedral" (Santa Cruz), which was built in the sixteenth century over an old gothic temple and built by King Alfonso X El sabio.
It is the only temple of Christian worship with a yellow dome (which is typical of the Muslim religion). In the crypt of the cathedral are buried the composer Manuel de Falla and the poet and playwright José María Pemán, both born in Cádiz.
It has visitation hours for the interior of the enclosure and the west tower (Torre de poniente). The ticket for the cathedral can be used to access the Cathedral Museum, located in Plaza Fray Felix near the Old Cathedral.
Catedral vieja
The Old Cathedral of Cadiz, or Holy Cross Church, is a building that dates from 1262-1263 and was rebuilt in Baroque and Mannerist style in the eighteenth century.
This cathedral was built by King Alfonso X El sabio, in time of Pope Urban IV, but it has had intermittent periods of worship. It was considered Cathedral until 1838, when the cathedral of the city moved to the "New Cathedral". Since 1838, it is considered only church.
The cache
The cache uses a magnet to stay in place and it is a Micro black container with only a log sheet. You will need a pencil to register.
Watch out for muggles, at certain times they can be numerous and be everywhere.
As a bonus, "The Bishop's house" is about 20-30 meters from the cache and the "Old Cathedral" about 30 meters from "The Bishop's house."
