Geocache Description:

Cache is a large pill bottle wrapped in black tape at the top of J1000, it is about 4.5 miles from hwy 93 and most cars should be able to make it spring thru fall. A tribal conservation permit may be required for some people. There are some radio towers near the cache. The cache is NOT near the towers or the fence, please do not disturb anything near the towers or fence.

From the hill just before you get to the cache, you can see all the way to Ronan. If you look in the direction of the river, the parking area of the Kerr Dam overlook is visible. Below the cache is Jette Lake, the obvious body of water is Flathead lake, to the south you can see Pablo Reservoir. With binoculars, Kicking Horse Reservoir and possibly Nine Pipe Reservoir are visible. This is truly one of the best views in the area.
