I went for a little exploratory trip with John A. and he had a few sights to show me.
We covered 33km on our bikes riding up and down old logging roads. Along the way we seen; mining claims, a pair of gold panner's donning hip waders, a rusty cable car over the Leech I didn't dare try out, the largest slickest slate slide I have seen and more bear poop I cared to count. I hid the cache on our way back very near the cedar log crossing we dragged our bikes over. Or should I say John who kindly carried my bike across the cedar log. Always the gentleman.
I'm not sure what the structure was for but it is very big and old. When you are standing here DO NOT CLIMB THE LOGS! The cache is hidden on your left as you are standing at the base of the huge log wall and pondering it's use. Count four logs up and look in the hidey hole. There are some rocks covering it.
Have fun exploring this unique area.
