This is a nice little Park-n-Grab located at an IL Deptartment of Natural Resources public archery range. The container is large enough for small swag and trackables. If you're travelling through the area late at night when all of the gas stations are closed, the nearby restrooms may be a lifesaver!
We had to camouflage our container a bit to help muggle-proof it, but someone who is actually looking for the cache should be able to find it quite easily. You will have to take a couple of steps into the woods once you get within 15 or 20 feet of the cache. If it looks like you'll have to go through really thick underbrush, you're doing it wrong. We intended for this to be an easy cache for travelers along Rt. 121 to pick up.
If you want to stretch your legs and you have time for a pleasant little hike, check out GC3MVCB (Archery Trail), which is located on the trail that starts from this parking area.
Because this cache is on Illinois Department of Natural Resources land, please note the following:
1. Geocache is placed on Department managed property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: food items; inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
3. It is the visitors' responsibility to orient themselves with policies and rules pertaining to this Department managed site.
