Graščina Križ
Nastanek gradu najverjetneje lahko postavimo v drugo polovico 16. stoletja. Prva zanesljiva letnica, ki nam priča o obstoju gradu je 1583, ko je bil grofu Ahaciju Turnu izdan urbar, v katerem se imenuje poleg »vom Thurn« tudi »zum Creuz«. Po starem izročilu naj bi se grof Turn preselil na Križ s Starega gradu nad Kamnikom, ker naj bi leta 1576 v njegovo hčer treščila strela in jo ubila.
Ustanovitev kriške graščine je bila za komendsko območje, zlasti pa za vas Križ, zelo pomemben dogodek, ki je povezan tudi s protestantizmom na Kamniškem.
Po izumrtju Turnov so postali lastniki gradu grofje Auspergi-Turjaški, po njih pa so graščino podedovali baroni Apfaltrerni, ki so ostali lastniki gradu, dokler ga niso med drugo svetovno vojno požgali partizani. V kriškem gradu so bile številne dragocene umetnine, ki jih je leta 1929 v knjigi »Umetnostni spomeniki Slovenije – Politični okraj Kamnik« opisal dr. France Stele. Veliko jih je bilo uničenih v požaru, del pa je po vojni izginil neznano kam.
Od nekdanjega mogočnega gradu je ostalo bore malo. Nalog za požig gradu je izdal domačin Janko Rudolf, utemeljevali so ga s strahom pred nastanitvijo nemških vojakov na tej strateško pomembni točki, čeprav se v gradu skoraj nikoli ni zadrževala kakšna večja nemška enota.
Manor Creutz
The formation of the castle is likely to be placed in the second half of the 16th century. In slices of the castle were many valuable works of art which, in 1929 the book "The monument of Slovenia - Political district Kamnik" described Dr. France Stele. Many of them were destroyed by fire, part of it after the war and disappeared into unknown.
