I’ve driven past “Enchanted Hill” very many times! And, I’ve seen the antennas on the top almost as many! More recently I considered planting a cache up there, and today was the day! It was an easy hike, mostly on well-formed paths! Now, I’m not sure why this is called Enchanted Hill, but possibly the views had something to do with it! Wonderful!
Whilst you are up here, don’t forget to log the trig… It’s a bit sad – a fallen pile of rocks, so I expect the nearby tower is now used. Anyways, the trig (NSW17625) is listed at Geoscience Australia, http://www.ga.gov.au/bin/gazd01?rec=49259
Cache is in a hollow under a rock – please ensure it is not at the ‘bottom’ of the hole, in case it fills with water!
